Why get involved

Becoming a coach is a worthwhile experience that is a 10 week commitment for twice a week teaching a group of girls our curriculum of confidence and diversity. Help will consist of getting all the girls race ready whether that means passing out bibs, being a cheerleader, or handing out water at the end of the race. The last way to get involved with Girls on the Run is by becoming a solemate. Being a solemate is an easy way to give back on your own time by doing something that you already love. Being a solemate is asking your friends and family to donate money for every race or marathon that you run and donating all the proceeds to GOTR.

Solemates is a great way to get involved in not just your running community but also your local community and give back. Oakland St. Come work with us!
